[November 24, 2022] Announcement on the Renaming of the NAT Gateway Type

Dear Tencent Cloud user,
To enhance the product experience, Tencent Cloud has released the more reliable and stable Standard NAT Gateway on November 24, 2022 for beta testing. This type of gateway will be the recommended gateway in the future. To be distinguished from the Standard NAT Gateway, the type names of original NAT Gateway instances are changed to Traditional NAT Gateway in a unified manner. The renaming details are as follows:
Gateway Type Before Renaming | Gateway Type After Renaming |
Small | Traditional NAT Gateway - Small |
Medium | Traditional NAT Gateway - Medium |
Large | Traditional NAT Gateway - Large |

Note
1. The change in the instance type name does not affect the configuration, billing, and other logic of the original NAT Gateway.
2. We apologize for any inconvenience caused by the renaming. If you have any questions, please submit a ticket for feedback. We will be at your service.
3. The Standard NAT Gateway is in beta testing and currently supports Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Chengdu, Chongqing, Hong Kong (China), Singapore, and Bangkok. If you need to use it, please submit a ticket for request.
