TSA - Chaotic Fault Generator is a fault experiment platform based on chaos engineering principles and Tencent Cloud best practices, providing users with a complete set of experiment life cycle management solutions.
Preparation for the experiment
Create a blank experiment task through Experiment Management and configure basic experiment information. Choosing to create an experiment through the Industry Template Library will reuse the preset configuration items in the experience template, making the creation of experiments more efficient.
Select the resource objects and instances that need to perform fault injection, and configure fault actions and parameters.
Configure guardrail strategies and monitoring indicators for experiment tasks to ensure experiment safety and observable experiment results.
Experiment execution
After the experiment task is successfully created, environment detection is automatically performed to detect the status of the instance that needs to be injected.
Go to the Action Group to perform the experiment. You can pause/continue or skip the action during the execution. It can be resumed after fault injection.
Observe the performance of the experiment through monitoring indicators and experiment logs, and make records.
End of experiment
After the experiment task is completed, you can click End Experiment to end the experiment task and fill in whether the experiment conclusion meets expectations.
After the experiment is completed, an Experiment Report can be generated to record and summarize the contents of the experiment.
