Using the DMC to Connect to the Cluster

Database Management Center (DMC) is a one-stop Tencent Cloud database management tool. It provides a variety of services, including database/table-level operations, real-time monitoring, instance session management, SQL window, and data management. This document describes how to connect to a TDSQL-C for MySQL cluster in DMC.
Prerequisite
To prepare your TDSQL-C for MySQL cluster, please refer to Creating a Cluster.
A database cluster account has been created. For the method, refer to Creating Account.
Directions
On the cluster list page, proceed based on the actually used view mode.

1. Log in to the TDSQL-C for MySQL console, and select a region at the top.
2. Click the target cluster in the cluster list on the left to enter the cluster management page.
3. On the cluster management page, click Log In on the right.

4. In the login window, enter the created database account and password and click Log In.

Type: Select TDSQL-C for MySQL.
Region: Select the region of the cluster.
Instance: Select the cluster to be connected to, or search for the cluster by ID in the drop-down list.
Account: Enter the account name corresponding to the cluster.
Password: Enter the password corresponding to the account.
Note
The cluster ID can be obtained in the Cluster List or on the Cluster Details page in the TDSQL-C for MySQL console.
5. The UI after successful login is as follows:

1. Log in to the TDSQL-C for MySQL console.
2. Select the region at the top, find the target cluster in the cluster list, and click Log In in its Operation column.

3. In the login window, enter the created database account and password and click Log In.

Type: Select TDSQL-C for MySQL.
Region: Select the region of the cluster.
Instance: Select the cluster to be connected to, or search for the cluster by ID in the drop-down list.
Account: Enter the account name corresponding to the cluster.
Password: Enter the password corresponding to the account.

The cluster ID can be obtained in the Cluster List or on the Cluster Details page in the TDSQL-C for MySQL console.

Are There Charges for Connecting Through the DMC Console?
It is currently free of charge.
What Should I Do When Login Failed with an Error Code of ER_ACCESS_DENIED_ERROR[-10001] [2c67ce67-82fc-e5df-7831-18feb87c7367]?
Cause 1: The account name or password is incorrect.
Solution: Reset the password and then log in. Ensure the account name is entered correctly.
Cause 2: The host address of the account is restricted.
Solution: Modify the authorized host address and then log in. Ensure the IP address used by the account has login permissions.
