The Asset Directory feature provides an overview of all database and table asset information published under the root account after asset inventory. It supports viewing table details from different perspectives. This page includes features like Global Search, a Data Table List categorized by data source type, data source, database, and owner, and an Asset Directory to help you organize and classify data.
Global Search Bar: Provides a quick search entry, helping you quickly locate target tables within the root account.
Data Table List: Includes information on data source type, owner, asset directory, tag source, and fields. It provides features for viewing lineage, permission application, and adding/removing from favorites.
View Lineage shows the lineage of the selected table.
Permission Application allows you to apply for permissions for the selected table from the table owner.
Favorite/Unfavorite allows you to add the selected table to My Favorites for viewing. Asset Directory: Helps you search data classified by directory, providing a clear directory structure. For creating or modifying directory nodes, you can go to Asset Directory Customization for directory organization.
To learn more about library and table details, click the table name to view the Table Details page. Data asset information is periodically updated through collection tasks by Data Acquisition, for more details see Metadata Collection.
