Instances in the TencentDB for MySQL Cluster Edition architecture support attaching from 1 up to 5 read-only nodes. This document guides you through the process of deleting read-only nodes for a cluster instance via the console once the instance has been created.
Prerequisites
For instances of the TencentDB for MySQL Cluster Edition, see Purchase Methods for creation. The instance is running.
There are at least 2 read-only nodes under the instance.

1. Log in to the MySQL Console. In the instance list, click Instance ID or Manage in the Operation column to enter the Instance Details page. 2. After going to Instance Details > Instance Configuration, select Adjust Configurations.
3. On the adjust configurations page, under Node Availability Zone, find the read-only node you want to delete and click Delete.
Note:
If a read-only node is accidentally deleted, it can be restored before completing the configuration adjustment by clicking Recover after the corresponding read-only node.
4. After selecting the switch time, click Submit.
During Maintenance Time: The configuration switch will occur within the maintenance time. To modify the instance maintenance time, see Setting Instance Maintenance Time. Upon Upgrade Completion: A configuration switch will be immediately performed after the configuration change is completed.
5. After the switch is completed, the deleted read-only node will be synchronously removed under Instance Architecture Diagram on the Instance Details page.
