You can perform certificate management on existing domain names.
QUIC Acceleration
The QUIC (Quick UDP Internet Connections) acceleration feature of Tencent Cloud VOD is based on the globally deployed acceleration network of Tencent Cloud, supporting content delivery using the QUIC protocol to improve the efficiency of content delivery during video playback and stability in weak network environments.
Usage
Enabling QUIC Acceleration
1. Log in to the Tencent Cloud VOD console and click "Application Management" on the left navigation bar to enter the application list page.
2. Find the target application and click on its name to enter the application management page.
3. Select "Distribution and Playback" > "Domain Name" on the left navigation bar.
4. Click on the ”set“ button of the target domain to enable the QUIC acceleration feature on the Basic Configuration page.
注意：
Before enabling the QUIC Acceleration feature, please make sure that the domian name have an https certificate(SSL or TLS) configured.
Disable QUIC Acceleration
On the "Custom Origin Server Domains" page, you could disable the QUIC Acceleration feature.
说明：
The QUIC Acceleration feature needs to be used in conjunction with a player that supports QUIC. You can contact us to obtain a player SDK that supports the QUIC function.
Only custom domain names support enabling the QUIC Acceleration feature.
Billing Details
QUIC access is a value-added service, and is billed according to the number of QUIC Acceleration requests. For the billing method, see QUIC Acceleration.
Certificate Management
1. Log in to the VOD console and click Distribution and Playback > Domain Name on the left sidebar.
2. Click Set in the row of the target domain name to enter the configuration page.
3. Click Access Control, and then toggle Use Certificate on or off.
Caution：
A certificate can be set only for a custom domain name.
Overseas CDN configuration
1. Log in to the Tencent Cloud VOD console and click "Application Management" on the left navigation bar to enter the application list page.
2. Find the target application and click on its name to enter the application management page.
3. Select "Distribution and Playback" > "Domain Name" on the left navigation bar.
4. Click Settings in the row where the target domain name is located to enter the domain name related settings page.
5. In the basic configuration, click Modify after the acceleration area field, you can select acceleration outside China according to actual needs, click OK to save the settings (the waiting time for the configuration to take effect is about 5 minutes), and the specific prices of acceleration services in China and outside China can be found in Daily subscriptions (postpaid) or resource packs (prepaid).
