The just-in-time transcoding feature of Video on Demand (VOD) can generate transcoded content in real time based on users' requests and cache the instantly transcoded files to the VOD Content Delivery Network (CDN). The time required for just-in-time transcoding, almost synchronously completed at the time of distribution, is much less than offline processing, achieving an instant play-and-convert effect. In addition, the real-time transcoded media files do not occupy storage space, effectively saving the storage costs. Billing will start on December 20, 2024, Beijing Time (UTC+8). The bill will be generated through the billing item of Media Processing Duration, with the unit price for VOD media processing duration being 0.003 (USD/minute). Charges are based on the codec, resolution, and duration of the output file, with video specifications depending on the video codec and the resolution range of the video's shorter side. The billing duration for each day is calculated daily, with the total duration less than one minute rounded up to one minute. For more details, please see the table below:
