Tencent Cloud Object Storage (Tencent COS) has just completed an attestation conducted by Cohasset Associates Inc., an independent third-party assessment firm specializing in records management and information governance, based on the technical requirements of the following regulatory bodies:
Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) in 17 CFR § 240.17a 4(f)(2)
SEC in 17 CFR § 240.18a 6(e)(2)
Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) in Rule 4511(c), which defers to the format and media requirements of SEC Rule 17a 4(f)
Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) in 17 CFR § 1.31(c)-(d)
This attestation provides assurance to our customers operating in highly regulated environments (e.g. financial service sector) on the non-rewriteable, non-erasable preservation method and object lock feature of Tencent COS, demonstrating Tencent Cloud’s commitment and dedication to delivering secure and industry-compliant cloud products to our customers.
