Tencent Cloud Ranked Top 2 in China's Public Cloud Service Market, according to IDC
According to the "IDC Quarterly Public Cloud Service Tracker, 2021Q3" released by International Data Corporation (IDC), the overall market size of China's public cloud services (IaaS/PaaS/SaaS) in Q3 2021 reached USD7.188 billion. Tencent Cloud ranks no. 2 in terms of market share with an industry-leading year-on-year growth rate of 53%. In particular, Tencent Cloud’s market share in IaaS and PaaS has continuously risen to 10.92%, achieving a sustainable and steady growth in areas of IaaS, PaaS and SaaS.
It is observed that the focus of competition among public cloud vendors has shifted from the scale of infrastructure to a multi-dimensional competitiveness covering infrastructure, platform services and the application.
