Privacy Policy

1. INTRODUCTION
This Module applies if you use HTTPDNS (Feature). This Module is incorporated into the privacy policy located at Privacy Policy. Terms used but not defined in this Module shall have the meaning given to them in the Privacy Policy. In the event of any conflict between the Privacy Policy and this Module, this Module shall apply to the extent of the inconsistency.
2. CONTROLLERSHIP
The controller of the personal information described in this Module is as specified in the Privacy Policy.
3. AVAILABILITY
This Feature is available to users globally.
4. HOW WE USE PERSONAL INFORMATION
We will use the information in the following ways and in accordance with the following legal bases:
Personal Information | Use | Legal Basis |
DNS Resolution Log: log timestamp, license ID, domain name, client IP, resolution record | We use this information: to ensure the Feature functions as required, and to ensure that bugs are detected and remediated; to answer your queries regarding the resolution amount; and to calculate resolution volume statistics (for billing purposes). Please note that this data is stored in our Cloud Object Storage (COS) and TencentDB for MySQL feature. This data is also aggregated and stored in our TencentDB for MySQL feature. | We process this information as it is necessary for us to perform our contract with you to provide the Feature. |
End User Device Data: network type, operator information, system properties, device model, operating system | We use this information for the purpose of analyzing and improving the quality of parsing services, by analyzing HTTPDNS anomalies and for failure recovery.Please note that this data is stored in our Tencent distributed Data Warehouse (TDW) feature. | We process this information as it is necessary for us to perform our contract with you to provide the Feature. |
5. HOW WE STORE AND SHARE PERSONAL INFORMATION
As specified in the Privacy Policy. Additionally, your APPID and UIN will be stored in our TencentDB for MySQL feature.
6. DATA RETENTION
We will retain personal information in accordance with the following:

DNS Resolution Log | Stored for 180 days (unless in special circumstances such as hacking of or an attack on your account, in which case we will discuss the same with you and may (if considered necessary) delete such data within 5 days of the discussion). |
End User Device Data | Stored for 7 days (unless in special circumstances such as hacking of or an attack on your account, in which case we will discuss the same with you and may (if considered necessary) delete such data within 5 days of the discussion). |
APPID, UIN | Stored in accordance with the retention period stated in the Privacy Policy (unless in special circumstances such as hacking of or an attack on your account, in which case we will discuss the same with you and may (if considered necessary) delete such data within 5 days of the discussion). |
