1. Log in to CDS Console, click Data Assets in the sidebar to enter the data assets page.
2. By clicking updating the asset list to retrieve the CloudDB list, you can also use the add data asset feature of the self-built database. When you need to audit data assets outside Tencent Cloud, you can add them to the database outside Tencent Cloud.
3. After adding the database, you can enable the audit permission by clicking
behind the corresponding database, allowing CDS to collect its logs for security analysis.
Note:
Enabling audit permissions will consume authorized asset counts by license.
Some operations require user authorization. You need only follow the prompts.
Step 2: Deploying agent
1. After adding assets and enabling audit permission, go to Agent Management > Agent Deployment.
2. During agent deployment, download the corresponding agent according to the location and operating system of the database and application system, then proceed with the deployment.
3. Once agent deployment is complete, click Agent List to switch to the Agent List page and check whether the agent status is normal.
Step 3: Configuring Audit Rules
After the audit permissions for data assets are enabled, common built-in audit rules will be enabled by default. Users can further manage the rules on the audit rules page.
1. In Audit Rules > Rule list page, you can view the audit rules in the system. If the built-in rules do not meet your specific needs, you can click Create to create your custom rules.
2. Click Rules Enabling to enter the rule activation page. Select data assets and enable the necessary audit rules for them.
Step 4: Viewing Audit Logs
1. After completing the above configurations, you can view the database operation logs on the Audit Logs page.
2. On the Audit Risks page, you can view identified data security risks. Security management personnel can decide whether further measures are needed based on the risk prompts.
