Create Environment
All the user management features of the Tencent HealthCare Tencent Healthcare Omics Platform can be accessed through the Console. Team managers perform operations such as creating, editing, freezing, and unfreezing users in the console. The prerequisite for using the user management service is that the environment of the Tencent Healthcare Omics Platform has been created. If the platform environment has not been created, you need to create the environment on the Create Environment page first. For directions, see Environment Management. Create User
On the User Management page, click Create User in the upper left corner, and enter the setting page. In the setting page, you can set your username, email address, and mobile phone number. The email address and mobile phone number are required items for subsequent log-in.
Manage Users
View User Information
The user list page displays basic user information (including the username, mobile phone number, and email address), user status, latest log-in time, and creation time.
Freeze User
Freeze User in the operation column corresponding to the user on the user management page. A pop-up will display a prompt. After confirming the freeze, the user will be prevented from logging in to the Tencent HealthCare Tencent Healthcare Omics Platform in any way.' style="color:#000000;font-size:12px;"> If you need to freeze the account of a user in the team, click Freeze in the operation column on the row where the user account is located on the User Management page. Then, a pop-up will appear. After the freezing is confirmed, the user will be blocked from logging in to the Tencent HealthCare Tencent Healthcare Omics Platform in any way.
Unfreeze
If you need to unfreeze an account, you can click Unfreeze in the operation column of the row where the user account is located on the User Management page. Then, a pop-up will prompt. After the unfreezing is confirmed, the user can normally log in to the Tencent HealthCare Tencent Healthcare Omics Platform.
Reset user password
If you need to reset your password, you can select Reset Password in the corresponding operation column of the reset password user line on the user list page. The Reset password pop-up will appear. After you click OK, the platform will send the user account and reset password to your email.
Create User Group
User Group Overview
The user group is a group of user members. It represents a resource access control mechanism provided by the Tencent Healthcare Omics Platform. This mechanism supports managers in creating, maintaining, and deleting user groups, as well as adding users to groups to modify permissions in batches and make permission management easier.
In the bioinformatics analysis scene, the user group mode can help managers better authorize projects. For example, you can create a user group, add all team members involved in a specific project to the user group, and then grant the user group the permissions required to access and operate the project. In this way, all user group members can access and operate the project as needed, and you have no need to grant each user the permissions respectively.
The mode of user group has the following strengths:
Unified Management: User groups can help you put the permissions of multiple users under unified management, reducing the workload of setting permissions for each user individually.
Permission Control: You can allocate permissions to user groups, and all group members will own these permissions to ensure that team members can access and operate projects as needed.
Flexibility: You can add or remove user group members or change user group permissions at any time to adapt to changes in project requirements.
Create User Group
Go to the Console - Tencent HealthCare Tencent Healthcare Omics Platform - User Management page and click Create User Group.
On the Create User Group page, fill in the user group name and remarks. The user authorization module will display a list of projects in different regions. You can select the role type that the user group needs to be authorized for, including the read-only user, executor, and writer.
Manage User Group
1. Add Users to a Group
Go back to the User Group Management page, find the newly created user group, and click User management to enter the manage user page.
Enter the user management page and click Add User.
In the Add User pop-up that appears, select the user you want to add and click OK.

3. Remove Group Members
Go to the user group details page, find the user to be removed, click the corresponding operation column Remove from the Group, and the user can be removed after confirmation.
4. Delete a user group
On the user group list page, select the user group to be deleted, click Delete in the corresponding operation column, and the user group can be deleted after confirmation.
