Data Transfer Job
The data transfer job is a special job type supported by the Tencent HealthCare Omics Platform. It is used to transfer files between the bucket of COS and the volume of the omics cache. According to different transmission paths, data transfer jobs are divided into two types: from the volume to the bucket and from the bucket to the volume.
Creating Data Transfer Jobs
Method 1: Start a Data Transfer Task on the Data Transfer page
To start a data transfer job, follow these steps:
2. Click Create New Transfer Job in the upper right corner, and you can select the suitable transmission type according to your needs.
3. After filling in the source path and target path and selecting the processing method for files with the same name, click Confirm To Transfer to start the transfer job.
Note:
There may be files with the same name under the target path. When starting a data transfer job, you need to specify how to handle files with the same name. Select Skip to retain the original file with the same name in the target path. Select Overwrite; the file to be transferred will replace the original file in the target path.
Note:
Data transfer jobs require a computing instance (default specification: 1 core 1 GiB) to provide a running environment for executing data transfer jobs. For detailed billing and price descriptions, see Product Pricing. Method 2: Start a Data Transfer Task from the Source Files or Volume Files page
To start a data transfer job, follow these steps:
2. Click any file or folder extension option and click Send to volume or Send to bucket.
3. After filling in the source path and target path and selecting the processing method for files with the same name, click Confirm To Transfer to start the transfer job.
