Billing is based on the device session duration and audio and video transmission duration.
The video transmission duration of different resolutions will be converted into basic duration at different multiples. The specific conversion details are given as follows:
|
Device Session | — | — | 1 |
SD Video | No higher than 640 × 480 (inclusive) | No higher than 900 kbps (inclusive) | 3 |
HD Video Re-photography | 640 × 480 - 1280 × 720 (inclusive) | 900 kbps - 1,800 kbps (inclusive) | 5 |
Ultra HD Video | 1280 x 720 - 1920 × 1080 (inclusive) | 1,800 kbps - 4,000 kbps (inclusive) | 12 |
2K Video | 1920 x 1080 - 2560 x 1440 (inclusive) | 4,000 kbps - 8,000 kbps (inclusive) | 24 |
4K Video | 2560 x 1440 - 4096 x 2176 (inclusive) | 8,000 kbps - 18,000 kbps (inclusive) | 48 |
Device Session Duration: Calculated based on the duration of the session status of devices, including both field and remote devices.
Video Transmission Duration: Calculated based on the duration of video watching of the remote device. Each video stream is calculated separately. The durations of video watching of different remote devices are accumulated.
The Video Transmission Duration category is mainly divided based on the resolution of the video stream, with the bitrate range as a reference (if the bitrate range exceeds the reference too much, the duration category may be adjusted). If it's SDK Encoding, it's based on the configured encoding resolution of the SDK, with the encoding bitrate as a reference. If it's an External Input Encoding Stream, it's divided based on the highest resolution of the video frames input to the SDK, with the bitrate range as a reference.
Notes:
When the Multi-Network Path Transmission feature is enabled, the session online duration and video transmission duration will be multiplied by 1.2 (the multi-network aggregation transmission coefficient) additionally when converted to the basic duration.
Pricing
Billing items are given as follows:
|
Standard duration package (USD/year) | 1200 | Annual Prepaid |
Billing Instructions
1. The effective time is calculated from the purchase date and is valid for one year.
2. Within the validity period, 1 package includes 60,000 minutes of available basic duration per month. Usage is consumed according to business needs. Unused duration will expire at the end of the month and will not roll over to the next month. The monthly start and end time is deferred monthly from the purchase date.
3. Multiple packages can be bound simultaneously to aggregate available basic duration. The available basic duration per month is equal to the number of packages * 60,000 minutes.
4. By default, each field device must be bound with a separate package to operate. If there is a lot of field devices and package sharing across multiple field devices is needed, please contact us to apply.
5. If all available basic duration is consumed within the month, the device may face business suspension risk. Please promptly purchase duration packages for supplementation.
Billing Example
A certain autonomous driving vehicle is equipped with 3 cameras. The video resolution configured by SDK is 1 channel at 1280 × 720 and 2 channels at 640 × 480. During remote driving, the remote cockpit will simultaneously view the video from the 3 cameras, with a total monthly remote driving duration of 4,600 minutes.
Monthly Basic Duration Consumption: 9,200 minutes (Device Session) + 50,600 minutes (Video Transmission) = 59,800 minutes
— Device Session Consumption: 2 devices * 4,600 minutes * 1x = 9,200 minutes
— Video Transmission Consumption: 1 channel (720P) * 4,600 minutes * 5x + 2 channels (480P) * 4,600 minutes * 3x = 50,600 minutes
Required Package Number: Rounding up (59,800 minutes / 60,000 minutes) = 1
Total Cost: 1,200 USD / year × 1 = 1,200 USD / year
Refund Instructions
If the purchased duration package has already been used, refunds are not supported. For unused duration packages, refunds can be requested based on the Business Contract Agreement. The refund amount should not exceed the remaining valid months * purchase price / 12.
