Concept of Bills
Bills reflect your monthly expenditure and resource details in Tencent Cloud, providing a proof of reconciliation for you. They are divided into the following four levels:
Statistical Period of Bills
Concept of the Statistical Period of Bills
The statistical period of bills refers to the rules for determining the associated billing month of fees. Tencent Cloud makes statistics of bills for a calendar month based on the actual usage time of resources.
The detailed statistical rules are as follows:
Monthly subscription resources (prepaid):
Monthly subscription resources (purchase, renewal, upgrade, downgrade, termination, and refund): Statistics are made based on the time of deduction/refund and fees are included in the bill for the calendar month in which they are generated.
Pay-as-you-go resources (postpaid):
Resources are used in the previous month and fees are also deducted in the previous month: The fees are included in the bill for the previous month.
Resources are used in the previous month and fees are deducted on the 1st day of the current month: The fees are included in the bill for the previous month.
Resources are used in the previous month and fees are deducted after billing on the 1st day of the current month: In some cases, usage reporting may be delayed or usage is recalculated for certain products. At this time, fees are included in the bill for the previous month by default. They can also be included in the bill for the current month upon approval by your business manager.
