Customer Service Suspension Rules
Last updated: 2025-01-16 19:16:31

Overview

Resellers can apply to the channel manager to set special product suspension rules for their sub-customers based on their business model.
Resellers can perform Freeze Operation on sub-customer accounts that have applied for this special suspension rule.
The sub-customer suspension rules described in this document only apply to cases where resellers have applied for special suspension rules for sub-customers. Other sub-customers who have not applied will be handled according to the general user product suspension rules on the Tencent Cloud official website.

Customer Service Suspension Rule Description

Billing Mode
Rule
Impact on Customer
Prepaid
After the product expires, service suspension and destruction will follow the overdue instructions in the corresponding product documentation on the Tencent Cloud website. Please pay attention to the suspension notifications.
The customer cannot make new purchases or renew services.
Prepaid services can no longer be used once they expire.
Services cannot be upgraded, and the prepaid mode cannot be switched to the pay-as-you-go mode.
Pay-as-you go
When the account is frozen or overdue, all pay-as-you-go resources will be immediately suspended. The system will also send related suspension notifications to the sub-customer and reseller.
After service suspension, the data of the related product resources will be retained for up to 15 days. If the sub-customer remains frozen or overdue beyond 15 days, the system will delete the data of the related pay-as-you-go resources.

Note: If the product of suspended service is explicitly stated in the arrears instructions document on Tencent Cloud's official website as "data retention time is less than 15 days after service suspension," it will be processed according to the rules on data retention.
Pay-as-you-go services cannot be used.
Services cannot be upgraded, and the pay-as-you-go mode cannot be switched to the prepaid mode.
Note:
Currently, you need to contact your channel manager to add you to the allowlist if you want to use the customer service suspension rules.
If your customer’s service is suspended due to the frozen account or overdue payments, you need to pay the fees incurred in the service suspension grace period and data protection period.
Tencent Cloud is not liable for any consequences or disputes arising from your customer's overdue payments since it doesn't engage in the business between you and your customers.
