The Anti-DDoS products have always been committed to providing users with more advanced, comprehensive, and powerful security protection capabilities, continuously evolving and upgrading the product architecture. To better protect your business and enhance the security and stability of your site access, we will be performing a comprehensive upgrade of the Anti-DDoS Advanced products on January 21, 2025, and will gradually migrate it to the Tencent Cloud EdgeOne (EdgeOne).
Note:
This upgrade does not involve the Anti-DDoS Pro series products.
Upgrade and Migration Schedule
Phase 1: New customers' purchase will be discontinued starting January 21, 2025. If you need to subscribe to Anti-DDoS Advanced, please contact your account manager to access the EdgeOne Enterprise Plan.
Phase 2: Starting February 10, 2025, we will begin the phased migration of existing customers' Anti-DDoS Advanced instances. We will prioritize evaluating batch migration plans for instances ordered through the official website, as well as targeted migration plans for historically customized versions. For customers with an account manager, we will have the account manager contact you to discuss specific migration plans.
Advantages and Value of the EdgeOne Product
By upgrading to EdgeOne, in addition to the core features of Anti-DDoS Advanced, we will provide you with the following security features and product characteristics to help you better address complex network threats:
Rate Limiting: Provides flexible rate limiting capabilities, including frequency control based on query parameters and Cookie sessions, helping you accurately identify high-risk visitors and alleviate service pressure.
Web Security: Provides protection against common vulnerabilities, including the identification and interception of attacks such as SQL injection, cross-site scripting (XSS), and Log4j vulnerabilities, to ensure the security and reliability of your applications.
Bot Management: Effectively identifies and mitigates threats from automated tools, such as batch logins, batch registrations, automated shopping carts, and credential stuffing attacks, to ensure the normal operation of your business and mitigate risks from malicious activities.
Traffic and Web Security Analysis: Provides efficient tools for traffic and security event analysis, helping you analyze the effectiveness of security policies in real time and in multi-dimensions, quickly identify threat characteristics, and shorten the policy reinforcement and response process.
Friendly Reminder
1. This upgrade and migration only affect users with Anti-DDoS Advanced subscriptions expiring after January 20, 2025. Users of the Anti-DDoS Pro products are not affected.
2. We will provide upgrade and migration guidance to all Anti-DDoS Advanced users. Please stay tuned for product updates and customer service contacts via email, phone, SMS, and Message Center. We will tailor the upgrade and migration plan to your business scenario to ensure a smooth transition of your business and security policies to the new platform.
3. We will offer subscription options at the same price based on your current Anti-DDoS Advanced contract. Service fees will be billed according to the original Anti-DDoS Advanced product pricing.
