After creating a Serverless cluster instance, you can modify the cluster's architecture and computing power configuration, and enable/disable automatic suspension by Serverless configuration in the console.
Prerequisites
A Serverless cluster has been created. The cluster status is started.
Modify the cluster's architecture
Clusters with a Serverless architecture support two configurations: the single-node edition and the cluster edition. The single-node edition comprises only one read-write instance. After purchase, it can be switched to the cluster version architecture through Serverless configuration in the console. The cluster edition includes one read-write instance and 1 to 15 optional read-only instances. Post-purchase, it can be transitioned back to the single-node edition architecture via Serverless configuration in the console. The corresponding operations are as follows:
Switching from Single-Node to Cluster Architecture
2. Click Target Cluster in the cluster list on the left to enter the cluster management page.
3. In the topology diagram, click on the "+" icon within the read-only instance area, or click on Serverless Configuration in the upper right corner.
4. On the Adjust Configuration page, select the Serverless architecture as Cluster Edition.
5. Select the number of read-only nodes as required.
6. Configure the computing power range for read-only nodes, which will be applicable to all read-only nodes.
7. Click OK.
Switching from Cluster to Single-Node Architecture
2. Click Target Cluster in the cluster list on the left to enter the cluster management page.
3. In the topology diagram, click on the "+" icon within the read-only instance area, or click on Serverless Configuration in the upper right corner.
4. In the pop-up window, select the Serverless architecture as Single-node Edition and click OK.
Modifying the Computing Power Configuration of the Cluster
2. Click Target Cluster in the cluster list on the left to enter the cluster management page.
3. In the topology diagram, click on the "+" icon within the read-only instance area, or click on Serverless Configuration in the upper right corner.
4. In the pop-up window, adjust the computing power settings for both the read-write and read-only nodes (applicable only to cluster edition), then click OK.
Enabling/Disabling Automatic Suspension
On the Serverless Configuration page, you can enable or disable automatic suspension. For service features and operation methods related to cluster automatic suspension, see Automatic Start and Stop.
